Olimpia kos play in Pireus in a custom built football stadium. The Athens Olympic stadium stands empty and is showing need of maintenance.
Whereas the London Olympic stadium [ 2012 ] will still be in constant use and available with a running track for athletics events.

Unforunately it will be called the Gulf Airlines Stadium or some other Middle Eastern or Far East sponsor..... so the op has a valid point, what are we going to call it?
Don't see anything wrong with the Olympic stadium.... that's what it is / was and therefore has a better chance of remaining a valid name which is better than the inevitable alternative.

Why was the Boleyn Ground named such, because it was the Boleyn, the Olympic Stadium is the name of this stadium, don't fret about it.
There will be a sponsor name at some time in the future, what will be will be.
